Kalshi holds $9.6bn of $10bn weekly non-sports volume
Kalshi has captured $9.6bn of $10bn in weekly non-sports volume as brokerages race to embed its contracts.
The hit
Public has launched AI agents that trade Kalshi event contracts & use their probabilities to trigger trades elsewhere in a customer’s portfolio, according to FinanceFeeds. Members set the conditions & actions, then review & approve the plan before the agent runs. Kalshi supplies the contracts & execution.
Why it matters
This pushes prediction-market prices beyond display into automated portfolio triggers, a step further than Tradeweb’s institutional price feeds. Kalshi gains another distribution channel as brokerages compete to embed its contracts. But an event-contract probability is a market price, not a verified forecast, & can swing on liquidity or positioning as well as new information, meaning a cross-asset rule could fire on a temporary move.

What happens next
Public users setting conditional instructions will need to weigh thresholds, position limits & the risk of rapid reversals before letting an agent act, according to FinanceFeeds.
